How to Complete the Activities

Part 1: Beginning Sounds Matching

2. Isolate the Starting Sound: Listen closely to the very first sound of the word (e.g., “/æ/” in Apple).

3. Find the Letter: Scan the right column to locate the uppercase letter that makes that sound (e.g., A).

4. Draw a Line: Use a pencil or crayon to draw a straight line from the picture to the matching letter.

Part 2: Word Tracing

1. Identify the Word: Look at the picture and read the printed word next to it.

2. Trace the Letters: Follow the dotted lines carefully from top to bottom to form each letter.

3. Read Aloud: Say the completed word out loud after finishing each line.
